How I rate casinos — fully transparently, objectively, and specifically for expats in the Netherlands.
I believe that you can only make good decisions when you understand how information is created. That is why I explain exactly how I test, score, and rank casinos here. No hidden criteria, no paid positions.

3-pillar scoring model
Every casino review ends with a safety score from 0 to 10. This score is a weighted average of three pillars:
Pillar 1: External review scores (40%)
I collect ratings from four independent sources and calculate a weighted average. The weighted average gives more weight to sources with more reviews. This rating is not my personal opinion, but an objective summary.

Pillar 2: Friendliness for expats/Poles (30%)
I assess how easy the casino is for foreigners in the Netherlands. This includes: registration with an EU passport, depositing via Revolut/iDEAL, ease of withdrawal, and whether support in English/Polish is available.
Each element receives a rating from 3 (difficult) to 10 (easy). Support in your native language is highly important.
Pillar 3: KSA Compliance (30%)
I check the official Kansspelautoriteit penalty register. Casinos fall into four categories: clean record, received warning, one fine, or multiple fines.
A clean KSA record gives 10 points. Multiple fines give only 2. The weight is high because it directly affects your protection as a player.
Selection criteria
Before a casino gets a review at all, it must meet these basic conditions:
Active KSA license
Verified in the official Guide — not on the casino's website.
CRUKS connection
Mandatory connection to the Central Register Exclusion Gambling.
Adjustable limits
Deposit, loss and time limits must be functional and easy to find.
No systematic complaints
No unresolved complaints on Trustpilot or in Casino.Guru's complaint procedures.
My testing process
Every review is based on a personal test. Here is what I do:
Registration
I create an account myself with a Polish passport and BSN. I measure how long it takes and whether iDIN works smoothly.
Deposit
I deposit a small amount (10-20 €) via iDEAL/Revolut and test if the route works.
Gaming experience
I play a few rounds to assess the interface, speed and fairness. I check if limits work.
Withdrawal
I submit a withdrawal request and measure speed. I check for unexpected costs or delays.
Customer service
I contact support — in English and if possible, in Polish. I rate response time and quality.
Verification
I check KSA status, read Trustpilot reviews, Casino.Guru ratings and other review sites.
Independence and affiliate transparency
This site earns money through affiliate links. If you visit a casino via my link and play there, I earn a commission. This covers the costs of this site (hosting, my time, tests).
What this does NOT mean:

Updates and maintenance
I update this logic every month. With each update I verify:
- • KSA status of all casinos (new fines, warnings)
- • Trustpilot and Casino.Guru ratings
- • Payment methods and withdrawal speeds
- • New casinos that received a KSA license
- • Casinos that lost their license
